Park Chan-wook, director of the critically acclaimed Korean thriller Oldboy, is making his Us feature film debut with Stoker, which is scheduled for theatrical release next March. After India's (Wasikowska's) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him. Stoker is directed by Park Chan-wook (Oldboy) and stars Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, Dermot Mulroney, Jacki Weaver and Nicole Kidman. Fox Searchlight has scheduled the film for theatrical release on March 1st, 2013. »
