Ben Savage says that after years of Boy Meets World “movie-of-the-week” reunion rumors and the like, discussions about that which would evolve into Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World sequel series heated up in recent months, leading to the pilot news first reported by TVLine in November.
“There was a lot of discussions and a lot of conversations to make sure we were all on the same page about what we were doing,” Savage tells RollingStone.com.
