Mumford and Sons' Grammys 2013 nominations include Album of the Year, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, Best Americana Album, Best Song Written for a Visual Medium (for the track they contributed to the "Brave" soundtrack) and Best Long Form Music Video

Overall, Mumford and Sons earned six Grammy nominations at the 55th annual ceremony, tying the band with Kanye West & Jay-z, Frank Ocean, Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys and fun.

Mumford and Sons are made up of lead singer Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Country Winston, Ted Dwayne. The band's sophomore album, "Babel," was released on Sept. 21, 2012 and sold 600,000 copies in its first week. At the time, that was the biggest selling record of the year, but the total was surpassed by Taylor Swift's "Red" in October.
