Good evening! .Hitchcock. goes into wide release this weekend, hoping to be showered with adoration this awards season. Based on the book by Stephen Rebello, (.Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho.) the movie is directed by Sacha Gervasi (.Anvil: The Story of Anvil.) and the script is written by John J. McLaughlin (.Black Swan.).
Anthony Hopkins plays the beloved director while Helen Mirren is Alma Reville, Hitchcock.s longtime collaborator and long-neglected wife. The rest of the cast includes Scarlett Johansson (Janet Leigh), Jessica Biel (Vera Miles), Toni Collette (Peggy Robertson), and James D.Arcy (Anthony Perkins).
