When 20th Century Fox announced that the "X-Men: First Class" sequel will be called "X-Men: Days of Future Past," it immediately became clear that the studio will attempt to tie the new film with the original "X-Men" trilogy, mostly because "Days of Future Past" comics focus on time travel. Then came word that Bryan Singer, the director of the first two "X-Men" films, has signed on to helm. Plus both Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart will return as Magneto and Professor X to star in a film that will also feature Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy as the younger version of the characters. Now Hugh Jackman is in negotiations to reprise his Wolverine role. And the studio is also considering bringing back Halle Berry as Storm and Michael James Marsden as Cyclops, but their casting has yet to be confirmed. Since filming is set to begin in January, we'll know more very soon. »
