One of the funniest things about that hoverboard from Back to the Future
II is that it doesn't even look all that futuristic. If anything it looks like someone took the hot designs of the '80s and imagined how those designs would evolve through time. So the final result is this hot pink design with crisscrossing laser colors that sorta resembles the background graphic featured in all your grade-school class pictures. Alas, it's still the hoverboard from Back to the Future
II, and now that Mattel has decided to create an overpriced replica of it for you to own, the Bttf geeks of the world are going bonkers for it. The problem is that while this might be a fun, nerdy thing to own if you're a Back to the Future
