Life Of Pi

Ang Lee’s latest film is based on the award-winning novel, by Yann Martel, which tells a story a writer goes in search of, after being told it’ll make him believe in God. Narrated by the subject of that story, it tells the incredible tale of Piscine Molitor Patel, known as Pi, a boy from Pondicherry in India, who survived for over seven months at sea on a lifeboat with a tiger.

Life of Pi was considered to be one of the more difficult books to adapt into a film, possibly because of  the challenges of filming the majority of the scenes, which are set in the Pacific Ocean.
