Before taking some much-deserved time off, Christopher Nolan made the rounds to promote The Dark Knight Rises on DVD/Blu-ray, as well as to reflect on his entire Batman trilogy. This included a stop in New York City, at the Walter Reade Theater in New York's Lincoln Center, across the street from the brilliant Lincoln Square IMAX Theater where this writer saw both The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. Nolan took part in an extensive discussion that covered all three Batman movies. Some amateur video of that discussion has made its way online, including this fascinating chat about Heath Ledger, how he came to be the Joker and what it was like shooting those first scenes (with IMAX cameras, no less) with the actor in character.  Check out part of this conversation...
