Not Fade Away has been playing a bit under the radar, but still has to be considered as a film being released during the heart of award season. In addition to the fact that it is the first film written and directed by David Chase, the mind that brought us great television programming like The Sopranos, Northern Exposure and The Rockford Files, the movie should also be a fun trip back in time when some of the greatest rock and roll music was being written and played.
