As if George Clooney’s outstanding cast assembly for his new film The Monuments Men didn't offer enough comparisons with Ocean’s Eleven, now he’s looking to recruit an actual Ocean’s veteran and has Matt Damon in negotiations.If he signs – and since it’s a chance to work with old pal George and an astonishing, eclectic array of fellow actors, be surprised if he doesn't – Damon will co-star alongside Daniel Craig, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, John Goodman, Hugh Bonneville, Bob Balaban, Jean Dujardin, Cuthbert, Dibble and… Sorry, got carried away there.Adapted by Clooney and Grant Heslov from Robert M. Edsel’s titular true-life book, the film will take place during the dying days of Hitler’s World War II regime.
