Director Joe Wright didn't have to do much convincing to get Keira Knightley on board for "Anna Karenina." "We actually live about seven doors away from each other in London, so I see him an awful lot," the actor said at a recent screening of "Anna Karenina" hosted by Backstage and the SAG Foundation. "He phoned me up when I was in Germany shooting a film called 'A Dangerous Method,' and he just said, ' "Anna Karenina"? ' and I said 'yes.' And he said, 'We're only going to do it if Tom Stoppard says yes,' and I said 'okay.' " »
