Former CBS Television Distribution president of creative affairs and development Terry Wood is returning to the executive ranks as president of unscripted and original syndication for One Three Media, the joint venture between Mark Burnett and Hearst Corporation that produces hit reality series The Voice on NBC and Shark Tank on ABC. “I have known and admired Terry for many years,” Burnett said. “She is a personal friend and a top-level producer with an unparalleled track record of success with quality programming — which is very important in differentiating television storytelling today.” Wood left CBS TV Distribution at the end of 2010 after 12 years. There she oversaw such first-run syndicated shows as Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray, The Insider, and The Doctors. She was also in charge of production of Entertainment Tonight, Inside Edition, Judge Judy, and Judge Joe Brown.
