Fox orders another cop comedy, this time a cartoon

Adding to the "cop comedy" renaissance that we just finished writing up right before reading about this, damn it, Fox has picked up yet another new series about the hilarity of incompetent police work. Murder Police—from Family Guy and Futurama producer David A. Goodman and Fox Inkubation-groomed animator Jason Ruiz—has received a 13-episode order, the network's first for a new animated series since Allen Gregory and Napoleon Dynamite, two shows that demonstrate why Fox hasn't ordered new animated series in a while.
