Dane DeHaan, who starred in "Chronicle" and has had minor roles this year in both "Lincoln" and "Lawless," has been cast as Harry Osborn in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2." DeHaan will take over the role from James Franco in Sam Raimi's first three "Spider Man" films, and joins leads Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, as well as franchise newcomers Shailene Woodley and Jamie Foxx (who was recently confirmed to play villain Electro). Marc Webb, who directed the first "Amazing Spider-Man," is set to direct the sequel. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci of "Star Trek" success, along with Jeff Pinker, are penning the new script, which comes from a previous draft by James Vanderbilt (who wrote the first "Amazing Spider-Man" and David Fincher's "Zodiac").
