Sony Pictures has finally confirmed that Jamie Foxx has officially signed on to play Electro in the upcoming "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel. In a recent interview Foxx spoke about why he wants to play the role. "Electro is a great character," he said. "I think Electro will be an exciting character to play because he's a genius electrician-type person, and he gets the short end of the stick from the whole world. And the next thing you know he turns it on." In addition to Foxx, the new movie stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, and Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn. »
