Doug Gotterba, a former pilot who says he and John Travolta had a secret romantic relationship, is suing the actor, claiming he never signed a confidentiality agreement preventing him from talking to the media.
TMZ reports that Travolta's camp says Gotterba, who served as Travolta's pilot from 1981-1987, did sign an agreement, which he violated when he reportedly spoke to the National Enquirer recently about his "steamy affair" with Travolta.
Travolta's attorney Marty Singer threatened to sue Gotterba, but the former pilot says the termination agreement he signed didn't say anything about confidentiality.
Singer calls Gotterba's lawsuit "ridiculous," adding, "Mr. Gotterba obviously filed this lawsuit to get his 15 minutes of fame. We plan to get this meritless case promptly dismissed." »
