Earlier today, director Marc Webb confirmed that "Chronicle" star Dane DeHaan has been cast as Harry Osborn in "The Amazing Spider-Man" sequel, beating Sam Claflin, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth and Boyd Holbrook, Alden Ehrenreich, and Brady Corbet for the role. DeHaan joins Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx and Shailene Woodley (The Descendants). Foxx is playing the villainous Electro, while Woodley has been cast as Mary Jane Watson. DeHaan appeared on such shows as "In Treatment" and "True Blood," before joining "Chronicle" as a teenager who slowly loses control over his recently-gained superpowers. He also had a small role in Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln." »
