ABC is back in business with Will Gluck. The network has ordered a script for his half-hour single-camera comedy Rookie, which centers on a twentysomething woman who is trying to reinvent herself by becoming a cop. In so doing, she finds a surrogate family amongst the disparate group of police officers with whom she works. Story: DVR Shakedown: Networks Declare War on Ratings Community producer Andy Bobrow will serve as the writer and executive producer on the project, which is being produced by Sony Pictures Television and Gluck's studio-based Olive Bridge Entertainment.
