In hoping to mount an Oscar push, Open Road Films announced today that The Grey and End of Watch will be returning to theaters for limited two-week engagements beginning December 7. The Grey will screen at the Laemmle Monica in Santa Monica, CA and the Laemmle Town Center in Encino, CA. Meanwhile, End of Watch will return nationwide. The film opened in theaters during a very crowded late-September weekend, having to fend off Dredd, House at the End of the Street and Trouble with the Curve as well as Resident Evil: Retirbution. The two-week run for Watch comes before the storm of Christmas Day hits that include Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained and awards favorite Les Miserables.
