Alec Baldwin is sticking with TV. According to Deadline.com, the "30 Rock" star has signed a new two-year contract with Universal TV.

Under the new deal, Baldwin will develop and produce new shows for the studio and could star in them. Baldwin's new deal is like Tina Fey's recent contract, but Fey's is a four-year pact.

"30 Rock" wraps its seventh and final season on Thursday, January 31. Fey's deal will likely see her start developing new projects after the 2013-2014 season. Shortly after her new contract was announced, Fey joked with The Huffington Post about her new show ideas.

"Me and Amy Poehler. 'Cagney and Lacey' reboot, but in space," Fey said.
