Leonardo DiCaprio’s “Django Unchained,” plantation owner, Calvin Candie, is so evil and cruel he fretted that Director Quentin Tarantino had gone too far to portray pre-Civil War plantation life and the treatment of slaves. “It was hard for me to wrap my head around it,” he said in a recent interview.
