The royal couple is getting ready to expand their family, and the palace has confirmed the good news. Congratulations to the happy couple! Kate Middleton and Prince William are finally expecting their first child! Kate, 30, and William, also 30, will welcome a baby soon, Clarence House revealed via Twitter on Dec. 3. The Official Statement "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting a baby," Clarence House tweeted. In a longer statement, Clarence House wrote, "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby.
