After encountering some stumbling blocks, Relativity Media is finally ready to begin building their cast and crew for the comedy Contractors. They first acquired the rights to the spec script by Bob Fisher and David Hemingson back in 2007. Later Walt Becker, who has directed such comedies as Old Dogs, Wild Hogs, and Buying the Cow, was attached to helm, but now Becker is out and Hot Tub Time Machine helmer Steve Pink is in. According to The Wrap, Pink has secured the directing gig, thanks in part to his revision of Fisher and Hemingson's script. The movie will focus on two underachieving contractors based in the Hamptons, who are hired to build a dream house for a local millionaire and his girlfriend. What seems at first like a sweet gig gets complicated when the duo discovers the rich man's lady is an ex of one of these blue-collar buds. Further »
