Last year, none of the Producers Guild of America nominees for Best Documentary made the final five at the Oscars.  However, this year's PGA nominees, announced Friday, includes one documentary -- "Searching for Sugar Man" -- that is generating a good deal of Oscar buzz. Malik Bendjelloul traces a journey to find Rodriquez, a musician who enjoyed some success in the 1970s before disappearing. It also contends for both the Ida and Cinema Eye kudos The other four contenders for the PGA prize, which will be handed out at the 24th annual awardsfest on Jan. 26, are: "A People Uncounted," "The Gatekeepers," "The Island President" and "The Other Dream Team."  Notably absent from the PGA roster is "How to Survive a Plague," which won the Gotham Award Monday and picked up an Indie Spirit nomination Tuesday.
