Without the ‘Massacre’ part of the title, Texas Chainsaw 3D just sounds like a brand. Does it mean the film will be relatively bloodless? Well, we can’t be sure, but the latest trailer and TV Spot has plenty of sexy teens running and screaming. And who can blame them? Not only are they being chased by a madman that wears a human face, but this time it’s in 3D. Be prepared to have plenty of shots where the chainsaw is aimed directly at the camera. Judging by the TV Spot, this is going to be a sequel to the original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) and not the remake from 2003.

I love the first The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the comedy sequel  The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986). Hell, even the remake was kind of awesome. I’m hoping this will bring the uncomfortable chills the franchise is known for. »
