Out with "The Mob Doctor," in with "Touch."

Fox's "Touch" has a new season premiere date, with the show's sophomore season beginning with a two-hour special on Fri., Feb. 8 from 8 to 10 p.m. Est.

While Fox is treating the Kiefer Sutherland drama better these days, the same can't be said for "The Mob Doctor," according to THR. The final four episodes of "The Mob Doctor" will air on Sat., Dec. 29, Mon., Dec. 31, Sat., Jan. 5 and Mon., Jan. 7.

The series, which stars Jordana Spiro as a young doctor working to pay off her brother's debt to the mob, has consistently struggled in the ratings, dropping as low as a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic. It looks like cancellation is near.

It's been a rough ride for "Touch" in this 2012-2013 TV season as well. The show's second season was originally scheduled to premiere on Friday, October 26, but "Kitchen Nightmares" took its place. »
