Syfy may have originally found success with scripted series, but it’s hard to resist the temptation of reality television, especially with the low production costs and the success of Ghost Hunters. Expect more paranormal-themed reality shows in 2013, as Syfy just announced Ghost Mine, Stranded, and Notorious Hauntings:

New York – November 28, 2010 – Marking the significant expansion of its popular reality programming, Syfy today announced it is greenlighting three new series: Ghost Mine, Stranded and Notorious Hauntings. This slate builds upon Syfy’s popular paranormal reality programming block led by Ghost Hunters, Paranormal Witness and Haunted Collector.
