As expected, Warner Bros. is starting to give with the clips for Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit Part 1: An Unexpected Journey”. First up: Bilbo (Martin Freeman) gets his very first sword courtesy of Gandalf (Ian McKellen). He’s not too enthusiastic about a sword, though, being a peaceful hobbit and all. Then again, that sword has magical powers and such, so maybe he shouldn’t turn it down so fast… A curious Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, journeys to the Lonely Mountain with a vigorous group of Dwarves to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the dragon Smaug. “The Hobbit Part 1: An Unexpected Journey” also stars Richard Armitage, Ken Stott, Graham McTavish, William Kircher, James Nesbitt, Stephen Hunter, Rob Kazinsky, Aidan Turner, Peter Hambleton, John Callen, Jed Brophy, Mark Hadlow, Adam Brown, Cate Blanchett, Andy Serkis, Elijah Wood, Jeffrey Thomas, Mike Mizrahi, Evangeline Lilly, and is directed by Peter Jackson. »
