Ryan Gosling's directorial debut, "How to Catch a Monster," has added Eva Mendes and Rob Zabrecky to its cast. They join Ben Mendelsohn ("Animal Kingdom") and the film's star, Christina Hendricks, who appeared with Gosling in "Drive." Mendes also stars with Gosling and Bradley Cooper in Derek Cianfrance's upcoming "The Place Beyond the Pines." "How to Catch a Monster," which Gosling and Hendricks describe as a fantasy noir, centers on a mother who is trying to protect her two sons and ends up working in a fetish club. One of her sons discovers a secret underwater town and descends into the darkness, with her following him.
