Emmerdale star Jeff Hordley has said that he is glad to be exploring a more "human" side to his bad boy character Cain Dingle. Cain has often appeared more vulnerable this year while recovering from his 2011 attack and supporting the rest of the Dingles as his granddaughter Sarah remains seriously ill. Hordley told The Mirror: "It's good that we're seeing more human qualities to Cain. It makes him more rounded and believable as a character. The dark side will always come out, though. There's still an edge to him, but it's not as sharp as before." Viewers will see Cain's romantic spark with Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) revisited this week as the pair jump into bed together again.
