Union J have stated that they are no longer the "weakest" act in The X Factor. The boyband revealed that they originally felt that they were the least talented act among the finalists, but are now proud at how much they've improved each week. Jaymi Hensley told The Sun: "Week one we sat at the sound check and said, 'We are the weakest act here' - because we were! "So now, to have got to the quarter-finals and be up against James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas and not be the weakest act is amazing. We've really progressed." Jj Hamblett added: "We really thought we were only here to make up the numbers. But now we feel we're right in the middle of things."
