The Maccabees have revealed that they plan to produce their next album themselves. The band, who released third record Given to the Wild in January, told Digital Spy that they're now "old enough" to produce their music on their own. Guitarist Felix White explained: "I think we're gonna do it ourselves. The way we made the last record, learning to do it ourselves, no-one knows better how to make our own record than we do. We're old enough now to do it ourselves." The group's 2007 debut album Colour It In was produced by Stephen Street and 2009's Wall of Arms was helmed by Markus Dravs. Tim Goldsworthy, Bruno Ellingham and Jag Jago shared production duties on Given to the Wild.
