Betty White has said that she is quite similar to her former Golden Girls character Rose Nylund. White played the naïve Rose for 180 episodes on The Golden Girls from 1985 to 1992, a role which won her an American Comedy Award and seven Emmy nominations. Speaking to Parade, the actress said she shares Rose's sunny outlook on life. "I like to think I'm most like Rose Nylund [than any of my other characters]," White told the publication.
