Richard Ayoade made one of the finest directorial debuts in recent years with 2010’s Submarine, and when he announced he’d be returning behind the camera once more for The Double, we were naturally very excited.

Adapting the original novella by Fyodor Dostoevsky, the film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Noah Taylor, and Mia Wasikowska, and now the first images of Eisenberg and Taylor have debuted online.

The official plot details are largely being kept under wraps, so for the moment, we’ve only got the original synopsis to go on, via Amazon:
