Between Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes movies, the BBC's Sherlock, and the new CBS show Elementary, it's pretty clear that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's beloved detective is experiencing a major comeback as of late. And since the character is technically in the public domain, there is nothing to stop someone else from launching yet another take on Holmes. This week Paramount has decided to throw their Deerstalker hat in the ring with a proposed remake of the 1985 film Young Sherlock Holmes. The original movie was directed by Barry Levinson and re-imagined Sherlock Holmes and John Watson as teenagers at a British boarding school who investigate a series of murders.
