Or at least, one of the three new “Star Wars” movies. Depending on who you ask, former “Star Wars” writer Lawrence Kasdan (“The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi”) will either write “Star Wars: Episode 8″ or “Star War: Episode 9″. Why couldn’t it be both? Kasdan has officially signed on to return to the galaxy far, far away, teaming with young buck scribe Simon Kinsberg (“Jumper”) to write one of the three “Star Wars” movies for Disney. Michael Arndt had previously nabbed the writing gig on “Star Wars: Episode 7″. The first new “Star Wars” movies arrive in 2015, followed by a new “Star Wars” installment every two years or so. »
