A lot of small news bits have surfaced as of late having to do with the superheros and genre features that drive the world of movie blogging so I figured I would offer a rapid fire update beginning with some trailer news. The first trailer for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness will play in front of non-imax copies of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey when it hits theaters on December 14 and to go along with this there have been rumors of additional trailers on the way as well including previews for the likes of Man of Steel, The Wolverine, Pacific Rim, After Earth, R.I.P.D. and The Hangover Part III. Of that bunch one has been confirmed and one has been shot down. To begin, Man of Steel helmer Zack Snyder tells MTV to expect a "crazy" trailer for the film in front of The Hobbit. »
