Now that Michael Arndt has officially come onboard to write the screenplay for Star Wars: Episode VII, there's talk that Lucasfilm has already signed deals with writers for the following two sequels. Those writers, according to Deadline and other sources, are Lawrence Kasdan (Empire Strikes Back) and Simon Kinberg (X-Men: First Class), and while no one from Lucasfilm is confirming their involvement, writers from both Variety and The Hollywood Reporter have taken to Twitter to double and triple confirm, with the latter saying the deals are done and both writers will also serve as producers.
