James Wan's "Insidious" was released in 2010 and went on to gross $97 million globally on a budget slightly over $1 million, making it the most profitable film of the year. Now comes word that Wan, as well as Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson will return for a sequel. Called "Insidious Chapter 2," Film District has announced that the plan is to begin filming in January an then have the film in theaters on August 30th, 2013. That means that Wan will be competing against himself, since his "The Conjuring" horror film is set for July 19th, 2013. "The Conjuring" was recently tested in front of audiences and the results were so positive that Warner Bros decided to give the film a summer release, believing that the new movie can also become a massive hit. »
