Scoot McNairy may not be a household name, but he's been steadily working in front of the camera since 2001. Bouncing around from movies like Killing Them Softly to shows like "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Shield," McNairy really began to get noticed in the critical community with his performance in the low budget 2010 film Monsters, written and directed by Gareth Edwards (who is now helming the Godzilla remake for Legendary Pictures). Now Deadline reports that he's just joined the cast of two other films: The Rover, starring Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce, and also Frank, opposite Michael Fassbender. The Rover is being called an "existential western" from Animal Kingdom writer/director David Michod, and it follows Robert Pattinson's character who travels across the Australian Outback to find his stolen car.
