Billy Connolly has revealed that he has no plans to retire from stand-up comedy in the near future. The comedy legend - who turns 70 on Saturday (November 24) - explained that he finds the idea of retirement "obscene". "The Chinese say that death seeks the hands that have nothing to do," he said. "Stand-up is what I do, it's my job. People say to me, 'You've enough money now, you can stop any time'. But that's like asking a painter to put down his brushes."
