With an estimated $199.5 million haul, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 had the biggest day-and-date launch ever for a Twilight movie. Across its 61 markets Breaking Dawn Part 2 is tracking 38 percent above its predecessor, which ultimately earned a franchise-best $430.9 million. Including its $141.1 million domestic opening, Breaking Dawn Part 2 debuted to nearly $341 million worldwide this weekend, which ranks eighth all-time (and tops for a Twilight movie). The fifth and final chapter in the Twilight saga debuted in first place across nearly all of its markets, including the U.K. ($25.1 million), Russia ($22 million), France ($17.5 million), Italy ($13.3 million), Australia ($12.5 million), Spain ($12 million) and South Korea ($7 million).
