In a creepy old house, horror awaits in the oldest of America’s regions. In New England there lies the quiet and vengeful spirits who await to terrorize the adventurous. With the evil superstitions that have crept into the consciousness of generations of residents, stretching though out the land like a fetid mold, horror is often incited.

It in no wonder that writers such as Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, and H.P. Lovecraft have created such terrors while residing in this region as they absorb the threatening atmosphere. Now director James Wan will choose this as his next spot for his next film, “The Conjuring.”

Wan in his burgeoning career has directed a couple of pieces of horror that still resonate with today’s culture. Those works being “Insidious” and the first of the “Saw” movies which produced an ad nauseum amount of sequels.
