Example has revealed that a Twitter user once "threatened to set [him] on fire". The 'Say Nothing
' singer described the abuse he receives online as "really scathing", but accepted that he couldn't complain about criticism given his own "outspoken" nature. "Generally people are complimentary, although sometimes they don't like you and want to let you know about it," he told Metro. "I've been quite outspoken about other artists, so I can't expect people not to be honest about how they feel about me. "You just shrug your shoulders and get on with it. Some people leave Twitter because they can't take the abuse. It can be really scathing on Twitter - someone threatened to set me on fire."
