Amy Corrigan became the third Young Apprentice candidate to be fired by Lord Alan Sugar after a failed rare items task. The 17-year-old media and business student was brought into the board room along with David Odhiambo by Platinum team leader Steven Cole. Both teams were tasked to spend the least amount of money possible collecting some rare items for an opera company. Platinum and Odyssey both spent over £700 on items, but with fines and the price of the items they didn't buy both amounted to over £2,000. Odyssey narrowly won the task, with Lord Sugar telling team leader Andrew Tindall: "I would like to say well done, but it's a bit of a shame you had £797 of expenditure and £1,236 worth of fines."
