Haven airs on Syfy in the Us and Showcase in Canada.

The supernatural drama series Haven has been renewed for a 13-episode fourth season to air in 2013, Showcase has announced.

Haven, is loosely based on the novella The Colorado Kid by Stephen King. The show is set in the titular seaside town which is supposed to be on the coast of Maine, although the series is filmed in Nova Scotia, Canada. Despite its picture postcard appearance, Haven has a turbulent history as a result of the so-called ‘troubles’ that afflict the local residents.

Front and center in events in Haven is Audrey Parker (Emily Rose). In the series premiere Parker comes to the town as an FBI agent. However, after befriending local cop Nathan Wournos (Lucas Bryant) and the roguish Duke Crocker (Eric Balfour) she joins the Haven Pd and investigates the town’s many secrets. Some of these have »
