If there's a Marvel hero who most inspires a Diy approach to all endeavors, it's Tony Stark.

The no-frills yet delightfully clever filmmaking wizards at Dumb Drum have fashioned a shot-for-shot remake of the recently released "Iron Man 3" trailer ... at about 1/1,000,000th of the cost.

Really, who needs CGI when you can just have Tony's gloves thrown at him? And why set fire to expensive Iron Man armor when you can just burn some coloring paper instead? And why pay Ben Kingsley's costly fee when your next-door neighbor will play The Mandarin for free?

And Don Cheadle only dreams of having as cool a cutaway as the one at 0:28.

Watch the plight of a superhero who's searching his soul without breaking the bank below. "Iron Man 3" (the real one) begins Phase Two of Marvel Movie Mania on May 3, 2013.
