TLC promised that tonight’s Breaking Amish: The Stunning Truth special would “address all of the swirling rumors and allegations” that have surrounded the authenticity of the reality show. However, this being reality TV, the first of the two-part cast reunion shows was really just a one-hour tease for the November 18 broadcast where the allegations that Breaking Amish was bogus will supposedly be answered. Hosted by Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle, the reunion special immediately followed the season finale of the series. It did come out on tonight’s finale that the show’s Rebecca has a little 19-month girl. One of the controversies about how real the series was has been a picture from 2011 posted online that showed Rebecca and Abe with a baby.
