In Showtime's Sunday-night crime drama "Dexter," Michael C. Hall plays the title role of a blood-spatter expert for a Miami police department, who moonlights as a serial killer targeting other killers.

You might think the show is filmed in Florida. It's not. It's filmed in Hollywood.

You might also think that shooting a show about a killer stalking killers would make for an intense, high-stress set.

Not so much, says guest star Jason Gedrick, who's playing George Novikov, the mob-connected owner of a Miami gentleman's club.

"It's an incredibly low-key set," Gedrick tells Zap2it. "It's so relaxed, you almost wonder, 'Wait a minute, this is a ton of fun, right, but is it going to come out professionally?' Because everyone is so well-prepared. They've been doing it for seven years. There's zero ego on the show.
