A theme park dedicated to toilets has opened in South Korea. The Restroom Cultural Park is located in the southern city of Suwon and as well as numerous statues, features a historical toilet timeline, "fun facts" about human excrement and a toilet-themed art gallery. The attraction was built in memory of the city's former mayor Sim Jae-Duck, who had the nickname 'Mr Toilet'. According to BBC News, Jae-Duck was reportedly born in his grandmother's toilet, which sparked an obsession with lavatories. Jae-Duck spent his life campaigning for better facilities across the sovereign state and even built a toilet-shaped home to live in, which now houses the theme park's museum and his original Wc.
